... month but I read on this site that your doctor can give you three prescriptions at a time. Is this true and where might I find more info on this? Especially during the winter it would be nice not to have to drive to the Dr and then back to the Pharmacy to get the prescription each month
My dr uses that prescription run to do the paperwork and check up that the law requires. It is legally possible for him to do what you said. He just has to put on each prescription when it can be filled. He also needs to date it for the day he's writing it. Some drs won't do that because they are afraid of what the government will do to him. I can't blame them, docs are going to jail and loosing everything. Our government has gone nuts and we have to learn to roll with the punches.
