- On for about a week. My legs are painfully swollen. Should I stop? I've been... knocking back fluids as fast as I can
For starts, why are you drinking so much? I've never had edema that was painful. Are your legs red and/or hot? Are you elevating them? You should not be retaining more fluid after you take it. Have you checked to make sure that is what you are taking? This is something you need to call your dr about ASAP.. Hydrochlorothiazide is a tiny round peach pill, at least every one that I've seen, in the past 40 yrs. Why did the dr put you on it?
