Bharat - just joined this group so am late on the response. Hope you are still checking. A couple of things: Did neuro test you for mUsk? I was negative, but tested positive for mUsk. Felt good to finally have a diagnosis on paper! I had a very difficult time with mestinon in the pill form. However, once I switched to the liquid version the side effects improved. The liquid is a pain. It's sticky and hard to take on the go, but I won't ever go back to the pill form. The side effects are still there, but much better with the liquid. I eat a lot of bananas which helps as well and never take on an empty stomach. The bananas also help with the potassium which we need to watch so closely. It's very scary at the beginning! And so rare that you don't know anyone that's had it. I had never even heard of the disease until I got sick. Did you start the steroids?
