We had sex on Tuesday up to 3 times throughout the day. He came in me all three times & the next day on Wednesday we had sex again and it happened again, I took the pill on Thursday morning. Is there a chance I may be pregnant. I'm starting to worry because I didn't get my period when I took the pill.
There is always a chance. Plan b is not 100% effective. It doesnt always work. If you are pregnant already when you take it, it wont stop that pregnancy. Plan b must be taken within 72 hours of coitus (having sex). Since you had multiple sexual episodes over several days, chances are pretty high for pregnancy. Plan b is not meant to be a birth control. Plan b is meant for one episode of unplanned, unprotected sex or one episode of contraceptive failure like a torn condom. If you dont want to get pregnant then you need to get on a birth control regimen or use condoms on a regular basis. You may or may not bleed after taking Plan b. Plan b is designed to supress ovulation. Some women may experience spotting a few days after taking Plan B. Menstrual bleeding patterns are often irregular among women using levonorgestrel for postcoital and emergency contraception.
If there is a delay in the onset of expected menses beyond 1 week, consider the possibility of pregnancy.
