My husband had a triple hernia surgery yesterday and his pain level is thru the roof. They prescribed him Norco, I don't think that it's working. I have Percocet from a previous surgery myself. Would it be bad for him if I switched it from the Norco to the Percocet?
dnmallet07; Really if you have not already done this, You really should check with the doctor prior to doing this. You know how they say don't use anyone else medication. Also either one of these are very constipating and I had this same surgery years ago and have a screen in there too so I hope the doctor told him to take a stool softener at least until he is eating right and can get his body regulated they had me on Colace generic which is DSS 100mg twice daily that is a stool softener and also Senna plain generic which is a laxative but not fast acting so you should not have to worry about any rush. But please ask the doctor about this prior to giving these to your husband. I know it is not easy chuck1957
