I am concerned about the side effects. He also Just started taking chlonidine to help sleep ( not helping much). He feels hung over since adding Chlonidine. Anyone have any good advice? Or have any of you used this combo before? I don't know the dosage of the Welbutirn or if it is the generic... Thank you, Concerned Wife
Adding Wellbutrin to an existing antidepressant is ok. Whether it will help him stop smoking depends on how determined he is. He may experience some side effects in the beginning, but this should gradually get better over a couple of weeks from the time he started taking. Clonidine is a blood pressure lowering medication. He may want to monitor his blood pressure to ensure it doesn't go too low. If the "hung over" feeling continues, he might want to contact the doctor and let him know of his symptoms.
