... transplant after 4 cycles of chemo. They said this was a better time than later in the disease because he was stronger now and the cancer was less resistant than it would be at a later date; such as after remission and cancer returns or further on in the disease when he is suffering from more damage to his health which the disease causes. Has anyone went through this that can comment on your experience?
My wife has MM since 2012! She has gone through a lot since then! I will friend you if you want to discuss in private!
She had her stem cel in May 2015! She went a whole year without treatment which was very nice! Now she is on chemo again back to back because her MM won't let up! It's a life changing cancer! Be ready as a caregiver because it's not an easy road for either of you! Waiting to hear from you! It's nice to talk with another caregiver it helps!
