My husband was just prescribed 50mg of Zoloft. Can he still take his trazadone for sleep?

Yes it is possible for your husband to take the antidepressant Zoloft and continue to take Trazodone before bed.
However, was this drug combination prescribed by the same physician?
If not it's important that both doctors are aware of each other's prescription and dose.
Reason being, either doctor may decrease the dose of Zoloft or Trazodone.
This could happen because both drugs are known to cause dizziness & drowsiness thus increasing the sedation factor.
Lastly, please note although Trazodone today is mostly prescribed for sleeping, it too is a antidepressant.
That is why it is critical to tell doctor's about both medications.
Sincerely
