After we complained of his mood swings and cognitive processing, the doctor said a new drug, Namenda XR would be worth a try. He has been satisfied until his insurance cancelled his life insurance because of his prescription ... they are saying he has Early Onset Dementia/ Alzheimer's disease which is NOT true; neither neurologist that he sees every 6 months has ever told us he has ALZ disease in any form. What are the other diseases beside ALZ for taking Namenda/Namenda XR? We have heard from friends that know someone with MS who is very satisfied taking it, lowering her frustration levels, as well.
