His boss gave him a different position and a lower pay rate. Is there medication he can take to help with this?
My understanding is that dyslexia is a problem that is hard wired into the brain and manifested in more than 50 different ways. It is in no way a predictor of intelligence and there is not a pill that can treat it. In fact, I could find no reference to any kind of treatment be it chemical or manual.
In Australia, that move would have been classed as unlawful discrimination and the employers would have to work with him on the issues that they believe are affected.
