My husband is sleeping can't keep his eyes open can bearly put a sentence together and he keeps twitching really bad all the time what cud he have possibly had to make him this way?
What color is his skin or the whites of his eyes (under lower eye lid)? Just wondering about his liver; is he a heavy drinker with a distended abdomen?
The other ones I was thinking of was Flunitrazepam (the date rape drug): https://www.drugs.com/search.php?searchterm=rohypnol or Midazolam which is the amnesiac that is given before colonoscopies, endoscopies etc: https://www.drugs.com/sfx/midazolam-side-effects.html
I'm not just guessing and pulling names out of a hat, the above is what came to mind first. The issue is that in overdose or heavy dose situations some unlisted side effects can occur. Another example might be Fentanyl where very high dosages (near or beyond normal lethal levels) do result in twitching through to tetanus style seizures.
So I'm not suggesting it definitely is "X" but exploring possibilities. The final possibility is that he using and/or misusing medication not prescribed for him.
Sorry about all of that and remember that all things being equal that the simplest explanation is probably the correct one which would probably mean that I am completely wrong. Have a snoop in his car and pockets while he is asleep for any empty medication packaging. Whatever it is it sounds really quite serious (ER time?) and get them to test his blood and urine. A doctor would be cheaper but may not be fast enough to be helpful.
