I've been offered Humira. I was told by my specialist not to worry about the cost of it, then found out what I have to pay. I can't really afford it but if it works, is it worth forking out that much money when you are already on a tight budget?
I am on Humira for severe Crohns Disease and it has been a god send. Yes it is costly, especially if you dont have insurance. However, they have an excellent Patient Assistance Program. Due to my low income, I have been approved to recieve it free of charge for one year. At the end of that time, we reapply. I have been on it for 3 1/2 yrs and can't say enough good stuff about it. I can give you their number if you think it might help. ChelleKay
