- medicine, antibiotics
This is very important to know the type of drugs Dr. has been prescribed for our child. Specifically to antibiotics, parents always try to avoid giving antibiotics to children. But many times Dr. don't inform parents as he/she is prescribing an antibiotic. So is there any symbol available on antibiotic syrup or tablet so that parents can identify this and consult Dr. forward.
The main query is, how to identify an antibiotic looking at the medicine?
It is quite difficult to ID a drug by looking at it, perhaps many a times the generic name does help in identification of the meds.
Unfortunately there are no such marks to ID an antibiotic med., your best bet would be to seek help from the doc/pharmacist.
Take care, best wishes!
