I was just prescribed Phentermine yesterday by my doctor. Before I moved away from my friends and family I was at a healthy weight of 130lb for my height. While away I gained 30lbs bringing my weight up to 160lbs! I was shocked when I stepped on a scale. Now on a goal to loose 30lbs and get my healthy eating routine back I am taking Phentermine. I have read lots of reviews on here about people taking it for years. When my doctor prescribed it she said it was hard on the heart and I could only take it for 3 - 6 months at the most, and I could never take it again in my life. Is this true? Is the medication really that hard on the heart? I don't plan on being on it for the rest of my life, but after reading reviews I'm very curious! Thanks!
Hello BensonS. I believe your doctor is right on. Actually, the way that I understand the drug in the length of time recommened is a few weeks. Having said that, the general opinion is the shorter time spent on phentermine, the better and safer for the user. Very best of wishes,
