I've been taking 400 mg a night for insomnia, but am still having a terrible time falling asleep and wake fairly often. Should I be taking it at bedtime or earlier? Does it take a few weeks before it starts to work?
Sorry you are having insomnia. It's no fun. I took 300 mg of neurontin for sleep. It worked for one or 2 nights. Increased to 600 mg, and the same thing happened. It certainly was not a long lasting answer for insomnia for me. Sorry. I also had terrible side effects and a difficult time coming off it.
