I started naltrexone for AUD 8 days ago. I started with a quarter of a 50mg tablet and am trying to work up to a full tablet. My doc also gave me Zofran for the nausea. I'm still taking just a quarter of a tablet twice a day because it makes me feel nauseous and throw up between 3 to 6 times per day even if I take 8mg of Zofran one hour before the meds and eat a high carb meal 15 minutes before (literally only soup and crackers at this point). I stopped drinking two days before starting naltrexone. How long should I keep this up before giving up? I feel like bunghole everyday and I'm tired of it. My abs are sore from vomiting and dry heaving. I've lost a couple pounds which is good because I'm overweight but it's exhausting and I'm gonna be flying to visit family in 9 days.
How long until naltrexone stops making me nauseous and causing vomiting?

I'm interested in seeing other responses as I have been on Naltrexone for 3 weeks now (50mg, daily) and drinking 2 glasses of wine an evening. Feeling nausea every day.
