You probably know... but I also need to know.
What Is Plavix?
Plavix (clopidogrel bisulfate) is a medication that is used to prevent harmful blood clots from forming in people who have had a recent heart attack, stroke, or severe chest pain requiring hospitalization.
Know with regards to your question... it is delicate and I truly believe the only person who can give you a 100% answer is a Cardiologist.
Best of luck..from a caring individual
As explained by our friend Plavix is Clopidogrel, it is not recommended to stop the med without seeking medical advice, I have been taking it since the last 2.5 yrs, perhaps it needs to be taken for life, but please talk to the cardiologist as suggested, hope this helps?
