but as soon as I stop applying androgel my testorene level falls down so my question is I have to continue applying androgel for the whole life time or is there a fixed time period
I have been using AndroGel for about 6 years now (I'm 58) and my understanding is that yes, I will need to use it for as long as I want it's affect. My testosterone level falls off quite quickly and quite low if I stop, too. Two summers ago I stopped using it to participate in a new drug trial. I had hot flashes, tiredness and no libido. The new drug didn't work so I went back to the AndroGel and have felt fine ever sense. Just be sure to see your doctor at least twice a year and have your PSA and prostate checked. Hang in there.
