- paxil, panic disorder
How long did you find that it took Paxil to totally get rid of your Panic Disorder symptoms for you if it did so? And did it help with Derealization and Depersonalization? These are two of my worst and most disturbing symptoms.
Thank you very much for reading and responding!
Hey german brite,
It will take upwards of a month or so to feel the full effects of the Paxil. The Paxil should help the high anxiety that results in the derealization and depersonalization.
Good luck on the new med and keep in touch,
Laurie is correct sometimes it takes as much as a month and even sometimes a bit longer for anyone to obtain a blood level and to work on the chemicals the change brain chemistry, some work slightly faster but some longer. be patient I fully understand what panic feels like unless you have ever experienced it this is a horrible situation, just keep hanging in there, things will get better its hard to think positive when you have this to deal with day after day! if I might suggest something I kept a journal in which I kept track of how I felt then once I started to feel better I could look at the past and see that things are really better I can almost here what you are thinking, How in the world can you do this when it takes everything you have just to get up and go, it's important for you to be able to see that things are getting better, take good care and let us know how you are feeling.
