I know I just asked about seroquel, but I have another question! I have been on it for 3 days. My doctor said to take it 12 hours before I want to wake up. That's a problem! I took it at like 730 the first night and passed out on the couch around 930. Last night I took it at 930 and fell asleep around 130 or so this morning. I still feel very tired and loopy when I wake up. My question I guess is when is the best time to take it? How long will the loopiness last? I don't like this feelin but I'm gonna try to stick it out. Any and all suggestions are welcomed! Thank you and God bless!
How long does that loopiness last?

I didn't find your last question... can you tell me exactly what strength of Seroquel you are taking?
See if you are taking a higher dose say of 200 mg or 300 mg and this loopiness is affecting you badly,I'll suggest you to lower down the strength of the medication.
But still let me give you a list of the time of loopiness that will be there according to the strength :-
Seroquel 25 mg - 3-5 hrs of loopiness
Seroquel 100 mg - 6-7 hrs of loopiness
Seroquel 200 mg - 9-10 hrs of loopiness
Seroquel 300 mg - 11-13 hrs of loopiness...
This is according to the dosage for the appropiate persons...
My previous question about seroquel was about weight gain. A lot of the reveiws on here was about that. I already have that problem! I have gained probably 50 to 60 pounds in the last year or more. I am currently taking 50mg once a day. I know it will take some time to get used to it, but like a said, I don't like the loopy feelin. I have a 4 year old daughter and my husband works 12 hours or more a day so I feel like I'm cheating them of time. It didn't wear off til around 830 or so last night and that's about the time we get our daughter ready for bed. I had to literally force myself to fix supper.
marliesmommy: In response to your question regarding Seroquel: OMG w/that med! I too was prescribed this med for anxiety/sleep. All I can say w/my experience in taking this is when I initially took one, all I remember was sweeping the kitchen floor. I had to use the Bathroom and I woke up still sitting on the toiled, 4 1/2 hrs. later! The next and last time I took it, I was doing the dished, same thing. How I woke up off the bowl was different this time. I literally fell off the bowl and my head went into the cabinet which is attached to the sink! Never again after that! I see you lasted pretty long though from the time you took it to the time you went to sleep? That is my only experience w/Seroquel. I can see it's for sleep or getting to sleep, at least! Once I was asleep-(unbeknownst to me), I slept good!Ha! As far as the loopiness goes, I didn't have time to feel anything prior to crashing. Although the next day, I recall feeling very rested yet atthe same time, somewhat off-kilter, for a little while after waking up. Best of luck to you-
