How long does it take for valium to get out of your system before taking a UA?

Only about 3/5 days depending on your metabolic rate. Maybe slightly longer if you have been taking them for a while. Drinking lots of water can speed up the extraction from the body. AK

Well it depends. Benzodiazepines (valium) is a first-order kinetics drug, which means the amount of the drug that is metabolized in a unit of time depends on how much is in the blood. Basically if you are a daily user then it will take weeks to a month or so. If you take them occasionally (once a week or so) then it will take 7-9 days until it can't be detected. This info is out of my pharmacology text book for college, so its correct.
