My husband got an injection yesterday around 1:30 pm and he still feels really bad today, and it is like 7:30 now. Is that common?
It sometimes takes a few days for an antibiotic, even by injection, to start working. He should begin to see some improvement by 48-72 hours after the injection. If he has not begun to turn a corner for the better in the next day or two, I would give the Dr a call and let him/her know he is not responding to therapy yet. I truly hope he starts to feel better soon! (Having a sick male on your hands is not an easy thing! lol-just jesting to lighten your mood-hope you dont take that in a bad way for I dont mean it in a bad way. I just know the males around me are bears when they are ill )
