the med crosses the umbilical cord and gets into the babies bloodstream... VERY bad for a baby and i would stop taking this med if the FDA says not to take it while preg. (this is an addictive nervous system depressant which (this isnt anything i know for sure but its what i really think will happen) will cause the childs development to slow causing (depending on when the med is taken) diformaties -brain development problems and possibly more
i havent looked to see if a preg. woman can take xanax but if it says they cant... dont. im pretty sure you can be given another anti-anxiety med
