i have two young boys and my wife thinks it ok to keep her pills (1 is vicodine) on the same shelve as the kids vitamins and floride tablets,i would like to know if there is a mandatory state law about this ...
I am not sure about a mandatory state law about this, but I always keep medications that are not for children on a HIGH shelf. Vicodin is nothing a child should have access to. (I'm assuming that's the medication you are referring to). In my opinion, it's never okay to keep an adult medication, especially one like Vicodin, within reach of little hands. Just avoid any chance of a mishap or god forbid, them actually being able to get into the Vicodin by putting it up above their reach. Do this for their safety.
