Chronic persistent Lyme disease is usually treated for up to 28 days with antibiotics.
Doxycycline, Amoxicillin, or Cefuroxime are used most of the time.
Septra is not typicallly used.

28 day treatments is a JOKE! NO, you need years of treatment. I had two lesions in my brain, some said MS it was Neurological Lyme disease and it took FOUR YEARS of a mixture of zithormax, doxy or mino, plaquinal, mepron, Rocephin IV was the BEST for me. Now lesions are gone in brain and in spine. Take vitamin B 12 also. Get a great infectious disease DR..they have holistic treatments for LD. Research holistic treatment for LD. Keep Educating yourself. Amazon has some great Lyme disease books. You Tube has a video called under our skin. Theirs options out there... good luck
