How does zantac compare to pepsid?

They are likely to work similarly, as both belong to the same class of medicines. Sometimes though, different individuals will have different experiences and different preferences. You might need to try them to see which one works the best for you.

Both Zantac and Pepcid are Histamine h2 receptor antagonists. They both work by decreasing gastric acid production and are used to treat the symptoms of gastric reflux and indigestion and to heal stomach and duodenal ulcers. If you take them at their recommended dosages both are equally effective.
