Any type of physical activity will increase your heart rate because as you use your muscles there is an increase in the need for oxygen to supply your muscles. Your heart pumps the blood that carries the oxygen supply thus creating a higher heart rate. Always talk to your doctor before starting any type exersize to see if your heart can handle it !!
