I have severe Psoriasis... it is getting much better on the methotrexate- how do I reduce the amount back down to no methotrexate and go back on it next winter?
I have been on Methotrexate for 2 years to treat psoriasis. My Dr recently decided that it was time to reduce my dosage in an attempt to wean me off completely. I started and remained at 25 mg per week until my Dr recommended reducing my intake by 2.5 mg (one pill for me) each month. I got down to 5mg per week after several months, but started to flare back up and bumped back to 10mg per week. I'm hoping to have better results next attempt! Good luck! Hope this helps!
