The only exercise recommended by my PT and neurosurgeon is walking for 10 min. twice a day. I need to lose 15 lbs. How?
You CAN lose by walking if you keep a brisk pace. Go ahead and walk the 10min twice a day and cut 500 calories from your daily intake and you will lose. Be sure that you drink plenty of water-at least 64 oz a day. You should lose 1-2 lbs a week by doing this, which is a healthy weight loss.
You need to listen to your body. Walk the 10 minutes twice a day but you should try and increase the time very gradually while decreasing your caloric intake. You can replace soda with sparkling water. If you are looking for flavor, try the Citron Lemon-Lime flavored Perrier. Give it a few days and you will not miss the soda.
