I asked my doctor about this and he said that because it works differently then Cumoden it is not needed. The Pradaxa prevents the blood from cloting where Cumoden thins the blood. At least this is how I understood it. I don't speak doctor, if you know what I mean. He did stress that I must be extreemly carful to not bang my head and be careful not to cut myself in a cridical spot since the blood will not clot. Good luck.

Taking Pradaxa for Afib, also have a brain anuerysm which has coiled, can Pradaxa dissolve the clots
