can force them into rehab they can sigh themselves out when better, I'm not rich to place him some expensive clinic but I will if they can guar. he'll be better...
hi,sweetlem is absolutely correct.you know that saying lead a horse to water Cant make him drink.is it possible to contact a detox in your area?perhaps some kinda intervention.with people he trusts.sometimes an addict doesn't know how much pain they are causing the people he loves and the people who love him. i would never try to tell anyone how to go about having an intervention.you need to talk to a professional.as far as a hospital goes, they may have grant money earmarked for such a problem.hope this helps you a little.i will keep you in my prayers.
Great answers Sweetlemon and Subzero! Besan, they are absolutely right. Addictions are usually so powerful that a person has to WANT the help before they will get better. If he/she isn't vested in their own treatment, then it will ultimately be a lost cause. I do think Subzero hit on a really good alternative for you and that is the idea of an intervention involving people that your child trusts. Maybe after he/she hears how much others want for them to get well and also how his/her addiction is impacting others, they just might agree to get help. Hope this helps.
