my ear pain is so consistent. I have not had a day without the pain. The doctor could not find anything with xray and blood test. The ear pain spreads down to my left shoulder , my right shoulder, and especially with a very bad bad sore throat that even i hurt a lot when i talk. I do know know what happens to me? i do not have the ear infection. but the pain is unbearable and gave me headache. Nobody can give me the right answer for my ear pain. I suffer a lot for more than 2 months and a half now. Any idea for this or any kind of medication that may help me with my pain. I would appreciate a lot
How come my mysterious ear pain never disappears?

i really need the right medication for my right ear. I do not think that i ever have the right diagnosis. I heard that c3 or c4 on the neck can get damaged. that is why i have ear pain. It is so bothering me nights and days. This is the worst nightmare in my life
I recommend you see a Ear, Nose and Throat specialist. An ENT can make a thorough exam of the ears, order an MRI of the neck and sinuses and determine what is going on. It could be any number of problems including what patti has suggested. So a check up by the dentist would be advisable too.
I had a problem like that in my left ear. The doctor sent me to the dentist on my 3rd visit. He prescribed an antibiotic on the second visit. I had a deep abcess. The dentist gave me special antibiotics, pulled the tooth about 2 weeks later. Problem solved.
Later I had another ear ache on right side-involved my neck. When the swimming class ended, the pain went away-not immediately. When I went in for semi-annual dental exam, the right teeth showed excessive wear from clenching them during swim classes. A mouth piece took care of that. Also some people clench and/or grind their teeth during the night, which gives them ear and neck aches- some just get head aches-but for night a person neds a custom made mouth piece. If you have a dental problem-you'll save money by going to the dentist first. If the dentist gives you a clean bill of health-go to an ENT. That's the best way to solve the problem, as UR doctor might not be too smart-I've had idiot doctors at one time or another. good luck and let us know what's going on.
