My doctor started me on Victoza Jan 2011. My doctor gave me a couple of samples of Victoza. I used the med. I then got a prescription filled for 30.00 dollars copayment with my insurance for several months. Now my insurance company has made Victoza non formulary and now my copayment is $197.00 per month. Needless to say I can not afford Victoza any longer. I love this drug. I love the ease of once a day dosage. I lost weight about 25 pounds. Just a little nausea in the beginning, soon passed. I am now back on Byetta ,to my disappointment.Copayment $30.00. I need assistance if any available to get my Victoza back with a lower copayment. Victoza keeps my blood sugars lower and cuts the sugar and food cravings.
