Reseach a product called Pro-gest - it is all natural progesterone, which is supposed to balance your hormones and keep you away from night sweats/hot flashes. Apparently estrogen is not good to take in terms of your future health (cervical/ovarian cancer) even though it helps with the symptoms associated with menopause. Have you had your thyroid checked? Again, try a more natural approach before taking drugs. Drugs are man-made chemicals that cause your body to lose its natural ability to fight and heal. There are many new products on the market these days that can help with your issues. If you have a health food store around (not GNC), go and talk to someone at least to get another option.
I personally take a product called Metabolic Advantage by Enzymatic Therapy, which supports thyroid health and my ability to lose weight. I get it through Vitacost.com, which is cheaper than my local health food store. Good luck to you.
