... drug called notta,
she has been given it for anxiety and stress and told to take a pill 3 times per day..
I have looked on the net but cant find any information on it anywhere, can you help me ?
I am worried that it might be dangerous to her, or addictive and I dont trust the doctors in Ukraine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
What I see online says Notta as a drug is equal to Singulair which I believe is a drug for asthma or breathing problems.
Are you sure Notta is the name? Can you verify on the bottle or literature that came with the medication?
Notta is montelukast is a leukotriene inhibitor. Leukotrienes arechemicals your body releases when you breathe in an allergen ( such as pollen} this drug is found in trukey a international drug name notta. It is the same as singular in the usa. It is not harmful if given for allergens/ asthma attacks. I'm not sure why the doctor would give it to her for anxiety and stress. I would go back to the doctor and see if he is given this med for asthma/stress/anxeity? Have the doctor explain this med to you. , if she has stress and anxiety she may want to make sure that the doctor understand that. If she has asthma and anxiety and stress then the doctor should put her on meds for all of her illnesses notjust one. Good luck.
Yes, what I'm finding is that its montelukast, which is singulair as jon says.
