surgeries to remove recurrent tumors after removal of thyroid and two non-successful iodine treatments -non-avid. not a candidate for beam radiation- being whittled away in the neck- but still here after 4 plus year battle
There is always hope. Have you been to a major clinic like Mayo or John Hopkins? Have you received a second or third opinion? Or one of the major cancer treatment centers? I wish I had an answer for you. I had thyroid cancer but fortunate that it was microcell. Have you had any chemo? They are certain it is thyroid cancer and not a sarcoma or nueroblastoma or something else? My prayers go out for you. Wishing you a cure and a return to wellness. Write any time, Karen
