... reinfected with a different strain or a stronger viral load of the virus?
I am not an expert on HIV but I think if the medicine you are on becomes less effective then your viral load can increase. I don't think you can become re-infected. It might be best to get the full infection from your doctor... all the best.
NO! Since you have never nor will you ever become "Not infected!" Sorry, but nothinghas yet been allowed to come to market that "cures" HIV! However, even afrer attaining the goal of "undetectable", there remain pockets of Virus throughout the body. This is why what you can become is what is refered to as "SupperInfected". That means you can (by means of unprotected sex!!! ) expose yourself to a completely new(or Mutated) genotype of the Virus. That's the LAST thing you would want to take a chance on doing. Your odds go WAY down at that point for liveing a somewhat normal, long and happy life. But if thats of no concern to you, at least think of the risk at which you put others. But I somehow think you probably already know this... so what gives???
NO / dont think you can get reinfected but however you can catch a much stronger strain.in addition you have still use protection, reduced the chances.
