Raymond, if I am reading this right we are only talking a few days this should be normal. if you have a question call your doctor. you are still healing.CHUCK1957
Raymond, I just found this sight while googling questions about thigh pain after my hip replacement on Dec 27, 2017. I saw your question after I already posted mine. I was wondering if you are still having the thigh pain or did it eventually go away. I am only a month out from surgery and other than the tight thigh muscle I am doing very well. Your situation seems to be closer to mine than others I have read (we seem to be very lucky to have had few to no complications). I have been off of any pain meds since about three days after the surgery and my healing has gone extremely well I just can't seem to shake that tight thigh muscle which gets worse the longer the day goes on. If you found relief in some way I would really like to know what helps the process along or should I just be patient and let the pain go away naturally. Thanks.
I had complications after surgery... a complete pop out 3 weeks after,, and 2 musccle groups in thigh that went to sleep and had to be stimulated over 10 sessions to build them up again... so close to 9 months pt was needed
