As a nurse, I know there are many many reasons other than pregnancy that can cause a lessened or even no menstrual flow. Some reasons may be very minor such as stress, diet, exercise, medications, etc. Although some may be more serious. A woman's period being normal is similar to a vital sign, a sign that our bodies are working correctly. I would see a Dr if you miss 2 or more periods, especially if you usually have regular periods.

Hello beebsyn. Stress would be in my point of view, possibly the likely cause. Hormones, also might be a factor. Regards pledge
