Coreg works as a beta blocker which means it blocks the signal to the heart to make your b/p increase. It is also used in people with congestive heart failure which results from having excess fluid in your system. Watch your diet and use a salt substitute. Weigh yourself daily and report gains of 4-5lbs. this medication is used in hospitals and is very effective.
