I am in the fourth stage; simply meaning I no longer heal and I have had the skin grafts done twice in my axillary surgeries. I've had this condition since I was thirteen but was only diagnosed ten yrs ago. I have never met anyone else who suffers from this problem.
As this condition is rare there probably aren't a lot of people on this forum who may know about it. I would recommend that you contact the Hidradenitis Suppurativa Foundation and they may have support groups, where you could talk to other people.

I am now in stage Iv. Disease is very aggressive. I cannot find anyone who can really work on this as a medical professional, and cannot do surgery. I am hoping there might be laser treatment. I am constantly searching for the right md. I had it at 19, but it was light, armpits only. Now am 60 and it has become a whole body nightmare.
I was diagnosed at 13 am an now 23. I seem to be having new outbreaks at least twice a month ive had over 30 surgeries and two skin grafts. I have no idea what stage im on but im def gonna find out. Ive never meet any one with this disease it has been a long ride and im praying for a cure.
