My Biochemical test report of Uric Acid is showing 7.0 and the reference range is between 3.5 to 7.2 mg%. Pls advise some suggestions to control this.
Uric acid level 7.0 mg/dL is the top value of the normal range so yes this would be high/borderline.
The link below has information about high level of uric acid. Most people may not be able to control it, but since you are borderline and not over perhaps changing your diet a bit will help. Link below has information about food you should avoid, etc.
this does not totally give you the answer just guidelines I had the same problem the doctor told me when Uric levels are high (sounds like you are at the point you need to watch the rich foods) don't have to stop them just take it slower, they gave me a medication but I can't recall what it was anyway he sound really high levels of uric acid and sedimentation rate can cause gout please take good care and maybe at least I have told you something that will be of some small help you take good care and keep me informed
