Hi! I have heard this. I was diagnosed with Fibro in August. I have been doing some research but what I learned most about diet was here on DC. There is a food group called 'nightshades'. Have you heard of it? I hadn't until I met some friends on here that told me about it. Google 'nightshades for Fibromyalgia' and see what comes up. I know they have spoken about it here before.

I found going to a nutritionist was very helpful.we did a lot of food allergy testing and that allergy causes inflammation in your body. so,if affordable give it a shot.also think about gluten free diet if you just want to experiment on your own... this is the second time we are having this type of nutritional post.good luck!c. Nightshades should be avoided at all costs, they cause pain levels to skyrocket with fibro.
Nightshades include, potatoes (not yams though) tomatoes (any and all kinds) peppers (any) eggplant, paprika, certain spices (cheyenne pepper), and cola beverages... especially Dr. Pepper for some odd reason!!
