... different dr now. I was taking subutex, bow I'm on suboxone again cause he won't prescribe me subutex. I know there's a blocker in subutex but it's not naloxone but it blocks other opiates what's the blocker in subutex?
The active ingredient bupenorphine is the blocker. Imagine bupe as a huge molecule that takes up all the room on a receptor site thereby keeping any opiate from reaching it. That is the best visual I know to describe it, but bupe blocks in both meds, the naloxone also blocks in suboxone.
