... hits of crack cocaine. i was sober for 3 years and i just messed up this time big. I quit using right after that again with a new sobreity date. I have been clean for 21 days since that incident. I have to get drug tested tomorrow from the lab for probation, do you think i will pass the test? Please i need good advise, thank you , T.J
Testing yourself, WOW what a challenge. So how was it out there? I am grateful to hear you jumped right back on the right track, and forgive yourself first, then move on with this thing called life again. I believe the number was 50, look up the 1/2 life of the hydrocodone, usually three days a pill so to speak, but I reread your concern and its about the other so it works the same way shorter time span although why or what are you looking for?, you should be fine on the other. 30 days is always a safe time frame to remember for opoids
Dear Purplestar... you have some great answers to your question from nucproff and dzoo baby... and I agree so I will not answer. But I do have a couple of comments if I may.
It sounds as if you are educated about sobriety by your "lingo."
Just wondering... was there a 'trigger" that caused you to briefly relapse? Just wondering as I am fairly new to recovery... approx. 41/2 months. I am learning all about triggers in my therapy and it made me curious about what made you relapse after 3 yrs. of sobriety. I know that I had something happen to me the other day that, if I would have had any opiates, and IF I had not been on suboxone (so I would feel the effects), I think that I might have done the same thing. Luckily I had nothing around and got through my "event." I always wonder though, when people relapse... what causes them to do so... I mean I know it is said to be triggers... but I always want to know why... so, I hope I am not being too nosey. It is mainly for my own education.
If it was a trigger, Purple, I do hope that you talked to whomever with you needed and I hope that you are feeling better. I liked what nucproff had to say re: "forgive yourself." And you must or you have by now, I am sure.
God Bless and I will remember you in my prayers... pup

Is 60mg avg/day of hydrocodone for 1.5 yrs enough to get on suboxone? I get withdrawals at 30mg/day?
