... dizziness if I bent forward, headache that lasted 7am till 4am, sensitive to light and noise,NO vommiting or nausea. I had pain on both sides or my head at the front. I have read about "Common mIgrains" being on both sides and no vommitting or auras. The Doc's didn't think this was a migrain because I presented with a slight fever, they gave me Chlorpromazine which is a anti-psychotic, I am wondering why they gave me this drug and is it used to treat migrain??

I had a lack of sleep, drank red wine, and have been stressed with buying a house so all these factors would have added to it.
Are you hypertensive? Sometimes, migraines manifest same symptoms like hypertension. I've been suffering from migraine since I was 16 years old and now that I'm in my mid forties, i'm still sensitive to light and noise with vomiting and nausea. I'm not taking any drug nowadays for my headache. Have you ever visited a gym or do aerobic exercise? It will help you to relax from your stress.
Luckily I have never had a real migraine that I know of. I get headaches that last for a while but nothing so bad that I had to go the the er. I know how you must feel. My mother-in-law use to get them for weeks on end when she was younger and under a lot of stress. I do think high blood pressure contributes to them too. I see ads on TV all the time regarding pharmaceuticals that help. Talk to a good doctor. Sometimes the er doctors don't know all the medical history you have and you might not get the right fit for what you need.
