... perscribed dicnaflenic, gabapentin and diazepam, i am a care worker an have a manual handlin course tomo the doc said not to take them when at work is there anythin else i can take that will work and not affect me plz
The diclofenac, a non steroidal anti inflammatory, should not affect your ability to work. The gabapentin, while may make you clumsy, shouldn't really be a problem either. The diazepam, a benzodiazepine used to relax muscle, may make you drowsy so might not want to take that. As far as over the counter meds, you can take tylenol (acetominophen) along with the diclofenac and gabapentin. I would not take Aleve (naproxen) or Advil (ibuprofen) because you already are taking the diclofenac.
