Hi. I'm sorry to hear you had a bad reaction to subutex. Suboxone is the same thing. It has naloxone in it which is supposed to stop people from shooting it up. I don't know. I've never tried doing that. I can not take suboxone because the naloxone makes me sick (nauseous and anxious). I've been on the subutex for over 2 years now and I want off of it. I was in the hospital for 11 days last winter where they took the subutex away (I was taking 2-4 mgs per day) cold turkey and it was the worst experience I've ever had. My family wants me to go to Hazelden in Minnesota but our insurance does not cover it. I found a place in Fl. that looks and sounds very good. You really have to research places before you decide what is best for you. I'm wondering if you were in Hazelden or if you can tell me where you were. They let you leave or did you leave yourself? I would love to know a little more before I write more. Hang in there. There are lots of wonderful people here that care and understand. Hope to hear from you soon. Laura :)
