I have had reoccurring shingles for a little over 20 years now. I have been blind, deaf and lost the ability to walk on several occasions, never mind the pain and fatigue. I was told that the shot that was being offered could now could be given to people whom have already had shingles and would lessen the symptoms? Has anyone had experience with the shot? So tired of the pain and going through this all the time.

Just looked it up and you are correct. The literature states that the vaccine can and does lessen the pain and duration of an attack. Also, I know some anti-viral medications help shorten the duration and presumably lessen the frequency of those awful, painful symptoms.
Peace and God bless and let's all pray for painfree days.
