... July second but feel like its not worth it to be clean since diagnosis anyone been in this situation
Was in the exact say boat with the same feelings you are experiencing. I however chose the path of staying clean and am very happy about that decision. Make sure you treat the Hep C. Most of the time it's treated with interferon I think that's how you spell it. This treatment stops the virus from spreading. However I have to be honest I got very sick from it and stopped the treatment for now at least. Just not ready mentally to go through it again. Good luck and hope this helps.
I've been there too!! I am also a recovering heroin addict, (coke too, and pain pills), I have Hep C and have decided not to go through with the treatment at this time to treat the Hep C, but, please stay clean!!! I have been clean with the help of the Methadone program and for almost 10 years now I have not taken anything but my methadone, (as prescribed) and I'm glad that I did! I know how hard it is to stay positive especially after you find out that you have Hep C, but i promise you that it will get better!! I go to NA meetings and try to find things to keep myself busy and positive. I urge you to PLEASE continue to stay clean!! Believe me, it is better living with Hep C and be clean than to go back to the miserable life that Heroin gives you!! I wish you luck and if you ever need to talk, just get on here, you will find support!! :)
